It’s been FOREVER getting this done, but finally, I’m so close…so close I can almost touch it…to releasing my fourth book. As a matter of fact, I’m planning a cover reveal on Monday, July 22. I can’t wait to show it to you.

I’m the luckiest girl because my genius daughter, Rosalie Ledezma, created the cover. You are going to love it!

Editing your lovely words

I’m happy to announce that I’m hanging up my editing shingle. This isn’t a new pursuit–I’ve been doing it for years, but I haven’t been very noisy about it.

I’ve had a lot of experience editing both fiction and nonfiction, including several years as a department editor at the Liahona magazine. I offer developmental, copy, and proof editing. If you’re writing a fantasy novel or an article about finding a mental health counselor–and nearly everything in between–I’m here to help you make your words shine.

I’m so excited that my publisher has pushed the release date forward for my new book, Time’s Dagger. It’s currently planned for June. Yay! I can’t wait to share it with you.

I’m so excited that my new book, Time’s Dagger, has been accepted for publication by Covenant Communications. It’s a time travel adventure/historical romance set in 1300’s Ireland. Coming August 2021! YAY!!!!

Hidden Springs Writing Retreat

There are so many things that are scary about being a writer. I pride myself on having a tough skin when it comes to criticism about my work, but it’s still hard when people peek into your proverbial stroller and say “gee, that baby’s ugly.”

Writers agree that even a hundred positive comments have a hard time blotting out the one negative one.

So, most of the time, it’s like this:
